Working with Suffolk County businesses.
Suffolk County covers a lot of ground, from Huntington and Smithtown to Patchogue, Riverhead and the East End, and a lot of its businesses are seasonal, family-run or both. They need a website that works hard in the busy months and costs nothing to keep running in the quiet ones.
TigerPoint is a Long Island development studio, based in East Meadow, building business websites, Shopify stores and custom web apps for companies across the Island. Distance does not change anything: the plan, the build and the reviews all happen online, with a preview link you can open on any phone.
The first step is free. Describe the project and a written plan arrives within 48 hours with the scope, the timeline and the price. We schedule the build around your season, not ours.

Judge us on real work.
The first thing we make for you is free: a written plan for your project, in your inbox within 48 hours. It names the scope, the timeline and the exact price. If it is not useful, you have lost nothing.
-
Built around your season
We plan launches so a seasonal business is ready before its busy months, never in the middle of them.
-
Low running costs
Sites are built to be fast and cheap to host. The plan lists every running cost, including any monthly Shopify fee.
-
Online stores that hold up
Shopify builds for shops and makers, tested on real phones before launch.

Suffolk County questions, answered.
Do you work with businesses out east?
Yes. The studio is in Nassau County, but the whole process runs online, so a business in Riverhead or Montauk starts exactly the same way as one next door.
Can you build a site that handles the summer rush?
Yes. Sites are built light and served from a global network, so they stay quick on busy days, and the plan can include seasonal pages or booking changes you switch on for the busy months.
I sell products. Should I use Shopify?
Often, yes, for a shop that ships or takes orders online. The written plan says whether Shopify or a simpler site fits your business, and why.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
Yes. The handoff includes the logins and a short written guide, and the plan can include an editor for the pages you change most.
Read before you decide.
- How do I get my business on Google Maps?
Create a free Google Business Profile, then verify it: customers can only find the profile on Google after verification is complete. If you visit customers or work from home, you hide your address and show a service area instead.
- New website or redesign? How to tell.
If your site still works on phones, you can edit it and the platform is yours, a redesign of the words, photos and a few pages is usually enough. If it is slow, breaks on phones, or locks you into a platform you cannot leave, a new build costs less in the long run.
- Do I need a website if I have a Facebook page?
A Facebook page is a good place to stay in touch with people who already know you. A website is where new customers find you on Google and decide to call, and it is the one place online that you own and control.
